Strategic Partnership Funding Window 2026/27 Now Open for Public Entities
Services SETA invites public institutions, including national and provincial government, municipalities, TVET colleges, CET colleges and public entities across the three spheres of government, to submit proposals under the Strategic Partnership Grant Window 2026/27.
The window supports projects that respond to sector and community needs, expand economic participation and deliver measurable service delivery, social and economic impact. Projects must demonstrate a clear link between the identified need, proposed activities, measurable outcomes and longer-term benefits.
Focus areas
Proposals must address one or more of the following:
- Rural and township development and revitalisation.
- Youth and women empowerment.
- Enterprise development and self-employment.
- Job creation and local economic development.
Non-compulsory online briefing sessions
Prospective applicants are strongly encouraged to attend. Each session covers all three open grant windows and explains eligibility, application requirements and the application system.

How to apply
Complete the Public Institutions Application Summary Form, Project Implementation Template and Budget Template, and prepare your project proposal, limited to five A4 pages, together with the required supporting documents.
Applicants must complete and sign the Declaration of Interest, Declaration of Authorised Person and POPI Declaration, as well as the declaration and consent section of the Application Summary Form.
The requested grant must not duplicate other funding for the same learners, training interventions or project costs. Other funding and pending applications covering the same activities or costs must be disclosed.
