The RPL gaps identified through the process will culminate into training inclusive of the theoretical concept gaps that require the application of a base of knowledge, as well as the practical skills for the qualification based on individual learner gaps. It will help therapists with experience to obtain a formal qualification conversion and create career upliftment.

Services SETA and SAAHSP partnership: The Transformation and Professionalisation of the Beauty industry has grown exponentially in the last 5-10 years and is a high priority. New narratives are being expressed, conveying an evolving beauty awareness informed by the needs and wants of contemporary beauty consumers.
The intervention is aligned to the Strategic Alignment of the Services SETA on the following strategies:
- SMME Development & GBV Post-Schooling
- Unemployed Youth Support Towards Employability & Entrepreneurship
- Trade Related Skills/ Artisan Development
- Hairdressing & Beauty Industry for Township and Rural Economy
- Addressing Transformation
- Addressing Sector Skills in Demand
- Professionalise the services sector
- Promote less serviced industries
